Once again I have been a bit quiet over the last month as I have been settling into my PhD in Cosmology and Gravitation at the ICG University of Portsmouth. I will write a post soon about the science behind my work, but I can give you an overview that I am using the large scale structure to measure distance scales in the Universe and hence put constraints on fundamental cosmological parameters.
I am settling in well and now will have more time in the evenings to begin posting more regular content. I shall try to post on a frequency of weekly with either the latest news in physics or updates on what I have been up to and what it is like studying on the forefront of discovery.
As the blog is set to hit 5,000 views in the next day, I would like to thank people for the continued support!
